Diversity is awesome. And "The Crew" has plenty of it. Essentially, the game lets you drive through a smaller replica of the United States. And not only public roads are included: the open beta also features one of the best race tracks in the world, Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The problem is that it's a horrible version of it. Elevations seem way of, the whole tracks is too wide and gives you the feeling of driving on a Tilkedrom, and even the asphalt color is way too dark. All of that actually really makes a difference on race tracks as it affects the lines and braking points and pretty much the whole track experience. Don't believe me? Compare the Crew video to one from rFactor2.
